First of all, the Shape names (C Shape, A Shape, etc.) DO NOT REFER TO ACTUAL NOTES.
They are a sort of shorthand because the shapes are based on the chords,
but in truth, the shapes can be played anywhere and WHERE THEY ARE PLAYED
determines the notes. This messed me up initially.

Second, the "T" or Tonic note positions are a must-know,
so take your time and learn them as you learn the positions.
The "T"s mark the tonic notes in the positions.

Below is the "C Shape" and it can be played anywere on the fretboard.
